Carmen came on board as a runner on The Ipanema File, and quickly became our stand-in sound operator. Always enthusiastic and willing to get involved, here is what she had to say about working with us:
Favourite scene?
- I really like the scene where the magician[SPOILER REMOVED] a guy in his show. Very funny scene to shoot and quite creppy as well
Thing you wouldn’t leave the house without during a shoot?
- My rain coat. I remember one day we were shooting outside, it was a sunny day. But suddenly it started raining so hard and I just had a jumper. I wanted to die!!! You never know when is going to rain in London.
Did you learn anything during The Ipanema File shoot?
- As my first job as a runner you can’t imagine how many things I learned. Gels, lights, sound, special effects… And I want to thank every member of the crew to be patient with me and letting me learn every day 🙂
